Mazes and maths

Class: Forest School Year: 2021 - 2022

We began our session with a stick maths challenge and then got into teams to each create a maze. One team using fallen autumn leaves and the other using sticks. We thought about adding things like dead ends and Nate decided to set up a trick telling children to go a certain way and they would be rewarded with chocolate!........ however it was a dead end! It was great seeing the children work so well together in such a large team, delegating tasks and making decisions. We ended our session having lots of fun on our new mud slide.
