Maths is Everywhere!

Maths is everywhere in our classroom! We have a real mathematical buzz in all our areas. All our areas of provision support the children’s age and stage of development. If you ask the question, ‘What is maths?’ they will tell you and show you where they can practise their mathematical skills. 

We hope you enjoy looking at all our mathematical learning. If you would like to see the mathematical learning your child is doing please log into Tapestry and look at the Maths observations. Under each observation you can see the goals your child is working towards. 

In Butterflies we do not set any specific maths homework this is because we focus our home learning on reading. We have occasionally set a little maths homework if the class is struggling to learn something eg. the counting backwards competition.
