Proud Moment!

Date: 4th Jul 2017 @ 10:13am

This time of year, especially in EYFS, we take time to look back at when the children started school. During PSHE we talk about things we could not do before we started school and things we now can do. Today was quiet possibly the proudest moment of the year! As you know we have been having mystery readers, well today Isla came into school with a book she had chosen herself and asked could she be the mystery reader.

The end of the day came, she announced to the children she was mystery reader and they all cheered. She then sat in my chair and read the book to the class. She read in a clear voice and used lots of expression. Myself and Mrs Wood got goose bumps and felt so proud of her! This moment would not have happened without all her hard work, her parents hard work and our hard work in school, so well done!

I would like to thank all the mystery readers, you have helped to inspire and instill a lasting love of reading in the children. There is still time to be our Myster Reader just speak to one of the team. Think Mr Peetom is going to surprise the children again before the end of term!
