World Book Day

Date: 6th Mar 2019 @ 3:58pm

We had a very exciting world book day. It all began with a mystery reader, where Noemi’s mummy surprised us and came in to read us a story about Norman the Slug. Afterwards, some children decided to paint Norman. Thank you for the inspiration Mrs Livesley. If any other parents, grandparents or family members would like to be a mystery reader please talk to Mrs Gardner at the red gate.

Miss Beale also made lovely bookmarks with us. THEN SOMEONE STOLE OUR BOOKS! They left us a note, saying that we had to try and guess the books that had been stolen! If we could guess them they would return our books! Lots of children wrote back to the book thief telling them to give us our books back. Children also worked together to build a trap to try and trick the book thief! Will it work?!
