During the summer term, the children in Wise Owls have been in three Olympic teams: France, Greece and Spain. For their food DT project they researched traditional starters, mains and desserts from their respective countries. They shared their recipes in their groups and made decisions based on ease of cooking and preparation, availability of their ingredients, how well they though the recipe represented their country and, of course, how nice they thought the dish would taste. All the food was paid for from their Enterprise Week profits.
Today, they all got on with the preparation and cooking, and we sat down together for a very enjoyable meal.
