Year 5 Assemblies (a.k.a. SNAKES ALIVE!)

Every Tuesday, children in Year 5 have the opportunity to present their own assembly.  They pick a suitable topic - usually something that reflects their own hobbies and interests.  They have to prepare, practise and present it with no help in lesson time - it is something they have full ownership of.

Recently we have had assemblies about Sea Cadets, dance classes, playing darts and Germany.  The first photos are from Megan's assembly about growing plants in nurseries.  The other pictures show Liam's assembly about snakes.  He brought in Hiss, his pet corn snake, and explained how he looks after it.
