Celebrating Bonfire Night

Class: Ladybirds and Butterflies Year: 2020 - 2021

The Ladybirds and Butterflies had a fun day learning all about bonfire night and why we celebrate it. They learnt all about Guy Fawkes and then acted out the story in our construction area. We watched a firework display on our big screen. We made firework pictures using salt glue and water colour paint. We built a pretend bonfire for our characters to enjoy. We made smoky black play dough to represent the night sky and used sparkly pipe cleaners to make fireworks. What a great day.
