Day 5 of home learning

Class: Ladybirds and Butterflies Year: 2020 - 2021

Today we consolidated our learning of all the sounds we’ve learnt so far but playing guess the sound, writing words and then sound bingo. In maths, we learnt all about comparing lengths, heights and weights. The children could order their toys from heaviest to lightest and tallest to shortest, well done! 

In the afternoon, we continued our learning about Harvest. We learnt about where flour comes from and the process that has to happen before we can buy it from the shop. We heard the story of The Little Red Hen and we could not believe no one would help the hen! The children then had a fun afternoon making their own bread, they all certainly helped and they all got to eat it! Well done everyone.
