Great Fire of London Moving Models

Lesson: Design and technology

Class: Busy Bees Year: 2023 - 2024

As part of their work in Design and Technology on moving mechanisms the Busy Bees class have been learning how to create moving models. The children have investigated moving parts in books then have tried out making their own levers, sliders and wheels. The children then all designed their own model based on our work on the Great Fire of London. They thought carefully about which parts of their model would move and how. The children worked incredibly hard during our practical session to bring their designs to life which I'm sure you'll agree are amazing! Fantastic work Busy Bees.
