CARNIVAL

Start: 6th Jul 2019 1:00pm

Westhead Carnival is held on the WLBC field next to school and cars park on the school field. There is a small admission fee which helps to keep this wonderful event going from year to year. 

All children in our school are invited to take part in the procession which leaves from the top of Cross Hall Brow at 12.30pm promptly.

Children walk with their teacher and class-mates towards the carnival field. On arrival , the children parade in the arena whilst their costumes are are judged.

After this, parents collect their children and can go off and enjoy a field packed with fun.

Events are usually ended by 4.30pm -5pm 

Any offers of helping to clean the field are always appreciated.

Help in the café in the marquee ,on a rota basis, or helping as a road/ field marshall is also very much appreciated too.
